Be up-to-date with your IT knowledge |
For freelancers or those who are interested in becoming an IT contractor - You have no doubt already heard that there is a huge Worldwide demand for highly qualified Cisco engineers with head hunters looking for Cisco Certified Network Professionals to come and work in Australia, Europe and America and many other countries. Checking www.jobserve.com today we saw these contracts in the UK:
![]() |
That is £410 per day or £2050 per week with an immediate start!! Or how about this one:
The demand for CCNP engineers exceeds supply so there is a huge requirement for people like you who have the certification plus hands on experience (which you get by training with us).
You are being offered the chance to take one of 8 very limited places on a massively discounted CCNP training program.
How Does it All Work?
When you reserve your place on your CCNP training course you will be sent your study materials, practise exams, cram notes and an account on your remote rack of live Cisco equipment which you can book slots on at a time convenient to you.
You study for the first weekend course and learn all of the theory from the comfort of your own home. This ensures that your Cisco theory knowledge is up to CCNP level by the time you come on the weekend training.
|
|
|
When you
come on the weekend you will be part of a small team of CCNP candidates. You all work on your own pod of
Cisco equipment and practise the hands on labs needed to
pass the exam.
You all build a Cisco network on your own network which ensures you gain the hands on experience and skills necessary to use your skills in the real world. You leave with a study plan and take the exam about one to two weeks later. You are then ready to repeat the process for the second, third and fourth weekends. |
After you pass all four exams you are a qualified CCNP with 6 months experience on live Cisco equipment behind you plus whatever time you have spent studying for your CCNA.
Your CCNP Boot Camp Includes:
|
|
CCNP Study Guide |
|
|
60 hours remote access to live Cisco equipment |
|
|
CCNP practise exams |
|
|
CCNP flash cards |
|
|
4 weekend boot camps |
You will pay for your own accommodation, travel, food and exam fees. Other companies do pay for these we know but they add it onto their fees and charge you over £6000 for the course. Hotel fees are approx £49 per night at our training centre and exam fees are approx £80 + vat.
What Subjects are Covered in the CCNP Boot Camp Syllabus?
The CCNP consists of four exams and each exam covers what Cisco consider to be the core areas of importance for any advanced Cisco engineer. The areas you will be studying and the order are below. If you want to see the full Cisco CCNP syllabus then click here. Just click on the exam number to see the requirements. Your CCNP qualification lasts for three years and then you must recertify (just by passing one composite exam).
All four of these exams must be passed to become a CCNP:

Why is Your CCNP Boot Camp so Cheap?
You CCNP boot camp pilot programme runs over weekends at a conference centre so we don't have to pay high monthly rents. We don't employ pushy sales people so we pass all the savings onto you.
|
|
|
Because of
the savings we make we think it is only fair that you pay a massively
reduced rate. For your CCNP boot camp your investment is a measly We are sure you already realise is a tiny amount of money to invest in yourself. It is even less that most companies charge for their CCNA course! When you see the volume of learning materials and the high quality of the course you are going to be amazed at how we can charge so little. |
The first CCNP boot camp was run in 2006-2007 and we had a 100% success rate in the exams so you can feel assured that this method of studying works.
Why A CCNP Weekend Boot Camp?
The traditional model of CCNP training sets you up for failure. You sit in a classroom crammed with other students and have to spend most of the day watching endless power points and if there is time at the end of the day you may get to do some hands on practise on shared equipment.
It gets worse though. In order to cram in the entire syllabus into a traditional two week CCNP boot camp the speed of learning is going to be so rapid that once you have started to get to grips with routing you are onto remote access and then switching. By the end of the course you have forgotten what you were trying in vain to learn at the beginning.
Networks Inc. Ltd CCNP boot camp model is unique. Rather than sit you in a classroom for 2 weeks boring you with power points and listening to a trainer drone on about BGP redistribution you will study in your own time at your own pace. If you get stuck you can post questions on the discussion forum which is checked daily by our consultants.
When you come on the weekend course you will have the theoretical knowledge in your head and be ready to apply it during the weekend where you will learn to configure complex Cisco networks with a Cisco consultant there to guide and support you. Every lab will be pre-written for you so you can follow in our foot steps gradually building confidence as you go along.
Why Study With Us?
|
|
|
You want
the peace of mind that you are being helped by an
experienced Cisco consultant and not a 'trainer' who
never applies what he knows to live networks in the real
world. We can't tell you how many complaints we receive about other companies when their trainers can't answer questions because they have never consulted in the real world. You would think that only small IT training companies are guilty of this but we have been called in to help one of the biggest training companies in the UK because their trainer had passed the CCNA on Friday and was teaching students on the Monday! |
Even worse, he was writing the CCNP notes for the company but had not passed the exam himself. Hard to believe but this company is a very big name in the IT training market.
When you attend most CCNP courses you usually don't get to see the equipment you are working on. They keep it locked away in the server room so you have to connect to it remotely. You don't even learn how to cable the routers and switches up. How are you expected to be able to do it in the real world? It often gets worse. Most students have to share their equipment with other delegates. Most of the day is spent watching power point slides. With late starts, long coffee and lunch breaks and early finishes you really are not getting good value for money are you?
You want the convenience of studying over a weekend rather than the hassle of taking time off work. You want to enjoy the full range of learning including hands on, theory, discussion groups, live help, remote router and switch access, practise exams and cram guides. You want to have your own rack of Cisco equipment to work on throughout your CCNP boot camp. Many other companies make you sit there and wait while you partner configures the other side of the network. This holds you back when you could be learning new things and moving onto new configurations.
What Does it All Cost?
To take a CCNP boot camp with most training companies can cost you upwards of £6000 + vat plus lost time at work. You want to have the best training possible for the best price and because this is a pilot programme you can benefit from a massive saving. Instead of paying £6000 + vat you can come for only £2997 + vat (or in ten interest free payments). This is under a third of the price of many Cisco training companies.
Please remember that the current average contract rate for CCNPs is approx £250-400 per day so after about 8 days work your investment for the course will have been returned. Please also note that by the end of the course you will have six months experience using live Cisco equipment and a reference from us should you require one.

CCNP Boot Camp FAQ
How do I know I will pass?
You will be given everything you need to pass the exams. The only thing you need to do is commit to studying for 2 hours per day for 4 weeks per module. If you cannot commit to this then please don't apply.
Where is the training?
The training will be held at our current training venue which is the holiday inn express conference centre in Milton Keynes which is next to junction 14 of the M1 (10 miles from Luton airport).
Can I drive home in the evening rather than stay at the hotel?
Not unless you live in Milton Keynes or 20 mins away. The course may go on into the evening and it would be very unwise to drive home after such a long day and then face a drive back to Milton Keynes the next morning. Even if you live in London we will far prefer you to stay at the venue. Also, we will be linking the networks together during the course to make a large enterprise network so if you leave you will be affecting your fellow students negatively.
What are the course timings?
We will start at 9am each morning and work late into the evening (hard to say what time we will finish because this is the first time the course has run). On the CCNA course, some students leave at 4-5pm but we expect a far higher level of commitment from the CCNP boot camp students.
How much studying is involved?
You will need to put in about 2 hours per day for one month per exam. Everyone is different but that is a rule of thumb. If you are not prepared to turn off the TV and spend this amount of time to better yourself and improve your career prospects then please do not apply. We want eager students only so we can prove the weekend training system works.
Are there any pre-requisites?
Yes, you must already be a CCNA. You must ensure that you are familiar with the CCNA materials and have CCNA level hands on skills. The CCNP boot camp will not be the time to discuss how to set up hyperterminal or basic CCNA areas which you should already know.
You can brush up by reading your CCNA study guide and doing some labs on www.mindtechcom.com. If you have not studied your CCNA with us then please call us first on 0800 083 6277 or e-mail us so we can be sure you are ready.
You must also be self motivated. You will be given everything you need to pass the exams but you are the one who will have to hit the books and do the labs and read the cram guide every day.
What equipment will I use?
You will have your own pod of routers to use which will consist of 4 routers of various models including 2600, 1700, 1800 and 3600. The switches will be Cisco 3500. Some of the labs may involve the use of simulators but their use will be kept to a minimum.
Can I pay in instalments?
If you are self funding and not paying via a limited company or other business you may pay in ten instalments each one month apart. Because of the huge amount of investment we have made in preparation and equipment there will be no refunds and no changing tracks (see terms and conditions). Please ensure you can make all four weekends because if you back out half way though you are still liable to pay for the entire course fees.
What if I miss a weekend?
Don't. You will fall behind and will not be able to go onto a different stream so clear your diary and if you are going to be ill make sure it isn't on a boot camp weekend. Check your diary for any birthdays, anniversaries or special events before you book. Requests to cancel or move will not be entertained.
Can I make money with the qualification?
The CCNP is a very prestigious qualification and by the time you have passed all 4 exams you will have a large amount of knowledge and hands on experience. Because the exams are part practical you will have proven that you can walk the walk. You should easily be able to secure a lucrative contract with the CCNP qualification.
Do you guarantee a pass?
We guarantee that if you follow our advice and put the hours in then you will pass the exams and feel confident when you apply your skills to the real world. We do not offer a guaranteed exam pass and many companies who do are basically giving your answers to questions that they think will come up in the exam rather than equipping you to be a Cisco engineer.
If you want to pass without studying then use a brain dump. When you do that you will be unemployable because you won't have a clue what to do on a live network.
A person may not know if this is CCNP boot camp is exactly what they are looking for. If you have any questions please call our friendly team on 0800 083 6277 or chat with us live. If we are out of the office consulting then please send a message to:
